Atlanta Braves won a dramatic crowd-pleaser over San Francisco Giants at
Jacobs Field pulling it out in their last at bats, 11 to 9.

Atlanta had the winning rally in the bottom of the 9th inning scoring 2 runs.
After an out was recorded, Rafael Palmeiro began the Atlanta spurt when he
drew a walk. Jorge Posada stepped into the batter's box and he lifted one
out of the park for a two run home run (his 1st of the season) making Atlanta
the winners and sending the 47,322 fans home happy. San Francisco was not
lacking for run support as they scored in 5 separate innings, yet victory
eluded them as they seemed to forget that pitching is also needed to win
ballgames.

The win went to Joe Slusarski(1-0) who allowed 2 runs in 2/3 of an inning.
Robb Nen(0-1) absorbed the loss in relief.
