Scott Rolen launched 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI at Coors Field where the
Philadelphia Phillies beat the St. Louis Cardinals in 15 innings 8 to 7.

The score was tied at 6 after nine.  Philadelphia was victorious in the 15th
inning.  Rolen lofted a solo-blast 'downtown' (his 2nd of the season)
resulting in an exciting win for Philadelphia and a raucous post-game
celebration by the home town fans.  Philadelphia totaled 14 on the night.

The win was credited to Felix Rodriguez(1-0) who went 1 inning allowing no
runs. Kerry Ligtenberg(0-1) absorbed the loss in relief.  He was unable to
retire a batter giving up 1 hit and no walks.

Scott Rolen went deep and had 3 RBI at Coors Field where the Philadelphia
Phillies beat the St. Louis Cardinals by the score of 12 to 11.

Rolen helped send the fans home happy.  He blasted a solo shot (his 3rd of the
season) in the 2nd inning, doubled in the 3rd inning and doubled plating two
runs in the 5th inning.  St. Louis threatened in the 9th but Philadelphia was
able to put down the rally.  

Mike Trombley(1-0) was the winner allowing no runs in 1 inning. Felix
Rodriguez gained credit for his 1st save.  Darryl Kile(0-1) took the loss.
He got hit pretty hard, allowing 10 hits and 3 walks in 4 and 2/3 innings.
