Todd Zeile had 4 hits and 4 RBI as the Cleveland Indians defeated the
Philadelphia Phillies by the score of 11 to 6 at Coors Field.

Zeile was a seemingly constant irritant to the hometown fans as he provided
much of the offense for the visitors. He ripped a base-knock in the 1st
inning, hit a single resulting in a run in the 3rd inning, doubled which was
good for two runs in the 6th inning and laced a base-knock knocking in a run
in the 7th inning. Cleveland won despite being out-hit by Philadelphia 16
hits to 13.

Kenny Rogers(1-0) went 6 innings allowing 4 runs for the victory. Esteban
Loaiza earned his 1st save. Mike Hampton(0-1) took the loss. He struggled
with his control issuing 9 walks in 5 and 1/3 innings.
