WEB GEMS- Bot 8th: Adam Everett robbed Tony Graffanino of a base hit.

The Florida Marlins cruised to a 8 to 1 victory over the Minnesota Twins at
Tropicana Field.

Minnesota fell behind quickly as the Florida offense came through in the first
inning scoring 2 runs utilizing 2 base hits. Luis Castillo led off and keyed
the rally when he smacked a single. Frank Catalanotto stepped up next and he
drew a walk. Derrek Lee then drew a walk to load the bases. Vladimir
Guerrero came up and he grounded into a double play. Victor Martinez came to
the plate and drew a walk. Adam Dunn added to the uprising and delivered a
base-hit. The early run support proved sufficient for A.J. Burnett(3-0) and
Florida. That was all the run support Burnett required. Florida rapped out
8 hits for the afternoon.

Josh Beckett(0-2) was given the loss. He allowed 5 runs and 6 hits in 5
innings.
