Huston Street came through with a solid 3 innings and Jhonny Peralta left the
yard and had 2 RBI at Minute Maid Park as the Toronto team beat the St. Louis
Cardinals in 15 innings by the count of 5 to 4.

The game was deadlocked at 4 after nine full innings.  Finally, Toronto pulled
the game out in the 15th inning.  After an out was recorded, Brandon Guyer
reached on an error.  Peralta was next and he drew a walk.  Adrian Beltre
then doubled giving Toronto the win much to the delight of the home town
crowd.  Toronto finished with 12 hits while St. Louis ended up with 7.  

The win was credited to Koji Uehara(1-0) who went 2 innings allowing no runs.
Sam Dyson(0-1) was the losing pitcher in relief.  He was pinned with the loss
despite not allowing an earned run in his 2 and 1/3 innings of work.

Hisashi Iwakuma pitched 7 strong innings at Minute Maid Park as the Toronto
ballclub won a thriller over the St. Louis Cardinals in, 3 to 2.

Toronto won the game with a run in the bottom of the 9th inning.  Ian Kinsler
drew a walk.  Cliff Pennington was next and he ripped a base-hit.  Adrian
Beltre got his chance to keep things going, but he went down on strikes.
Brandon Guyer was next to bat, but he was a strikeout victim.  Justin Turner
came to the plate and doubled giving Toronto the win and sending the home
town fans into a frenzy.  Toronto had 12 hits overall, while St. Louis had 5.

The victory was credited to Aroldis Chapman(1-0) who went 2/3 of an inning,
allowing 1 run. Mike Dunn(0-1) took the loss in relief.  He pitched 1 inning
giving up 1 hit and 1 walk.

Kyle Lohse came through with a solid 8 innings as the St. Louis Cardinals won
at Chase Field in dramatic fashion over the Toronto club, the final score, 1
to 0.

The game was won by St. Louis when they scored a run in the 9th inning.  After
an out was recorded, Delmon Young drew a walk.  Josh Reddick next to the
plate and he ripped a base-hit.  Reddick took second on the throw.  Alcides
Escobar then worked the squeeze play to perfection resulting in a mighty
exciting win for St. Louis and the 49,655 home town fans in attendance.  St.
Louis and Toronto each finished the night with 2 hits.  

The win went to Kelvin Herrera(1-0) who allowed no runs in 1 inning. The loss
was charged to Tony Sipp(0-1) in relief.  He pitched 1/3 of an inning
allowing 1 hit and 1 walk.
