Francisco Lindor launched 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI and Jeremy Hellickson
delivered 7 solid innings as the Miami Marlins topped the St. Louis Cardinals
by a score of 5 to 4 at Fenway Park.
Lindor provided much of the offense. He bombed a two-run dinger in the 6th
inning and smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly' in the 7th inning. St. Louis made
it exciting in the 9th, but they were unable to push the needed runs across.
Hellickson(1-0) picked up the victory, allowing 4 runs in 7 innings.
Hellickson got help from Sean Doolittle who was credited with his 2nd save.
Chad Green(0-1) suffered the loss in relief.
