The tension started to build around the 6th inning. By the 9th inning the crowd was electrified. Anaheim had a total of 11 hits for the game. The win went to Blake Stein(3-3) who allowed no runs in 6 innings. Steve Rain recorded his 2nd save. Kenny Rogers(9-10) was the losing pitcher. He allowed Anaheim 8 runs in 5 and 2/3 innings of work. 'You probably have a better chance of winning the lottery than this happening,' said Stein who got credit for the win, 'I don't expect it to sink in for awhile.' he said. 'You know, it's hard to say who was better, the starter or the bullpen!' |
