Haren was obviously at the top of his game as he set the Cleveland batters down like so many dominoes. The tension built to a fever pitch. After the 8th inning everybody in the ballpark was anticipating what would happen in the 9th. Kansas City had a total of 8 hits for the game. Ricky Nolasco(2-3) was hit with the loss. What a show!' Brooks Crandall said. 'Haren was great out there -- I'm happy that he got it.' |
