WEB GEMS- Bot 1st: Austin Jackson robbed Robinson Cano of an extra base hit.

New York fans certainly got their money's worth at Petco Park. Marco
Estrada(7-2) pitched a rare no-hitter as the Oakland A's toppled the New York
Yankees 9 to 0.

Estrada had overwhelming stuff tonight. He simply never gave the New York
batters a decent pitch to drive. He walked 4 New York batters. The tension
was mounting with every inning after the 6th. Estrada appeared oblivious
himself to the mounting history until two were out in the 9th. Only then,
did he allow himself one deep sigh and a slow trip around the mound. Oakland
had 11 hits for the night.

Luke Hochevar(7-5) was the losing pitcher. He was knocked around by Oakland,
allowing 8 hits and 3 walks in 4 and 1/3 innings. What a show!' Jack Mudd
said. 'Estrada was great out there -- I'm happy that he got it.'
