Philadelphia fans certainly got their money's worth at Wrigley Field. Corey
Kluber(10-3) pitched a rare no-hitter as the Philadelphia Phillies toppled
the Toronto club 3 to 0.
The partisan crowd cheered every Toronto out from the 7th inning on. He
allowed Toronto just one walk. The tension built to a fever pitch. After
the 8th inning everybody in the ballpark was anticipating what would happen
in the 9th. Toronto proved to be no trouble in the 9th.
Chris Archer(8-4) was given the loss. He pitched 5 and 2/3 innings allowing 5
hits and 5 walks. 'Kluber pitched one heck of a game!' Mark Goldstein said.
'He didn't get away with any bad pitches because he just didn't throw any bad
pitches. What a performance!'
