History was made in Arizona as Clayton Kershaw(6-3) tossed a no-hitter and the
Houston Astros defeated the Arizona Diamondbacks by the score of 3 to
0.

Kershaw had his best stuff and was 'painting the black' with every pitch. A
beautiful game to watch. He walked 2 Arizona batters. What a day for the
fans. They were on the edge of their seats from the 7th inning on. With
every out, the electricity in the air mounted. Kershaw racked up 10
strikeouts. Houston finished with just 6 hits in the victory.

Carlos Martinez(4-2) ended up with the loss. He surrendered 3 runs and 4 hits
in 5 innings. 'Kershaw was simply incredible' losing pitcher Martinez said.
'I hate to admit this but I'd pay to watch a man pitch like that'
