Jose Berrios(1-2) pitched a rare no-hitter as the Arizona Diamondbacks toppled the Toronto team 3 to 0. Berrios gave the home town fans an evening that they'll never forget. He walked just one Toronto batter. What an evening for the fans. They were on the edge of their seats from the 7th inning on. With every out, the electricity in the air mounted. Arizona had only 5 hits for the night. The loss was charged to Charlie Morton(1-3). Despite the loss, he struckout 13 Arizona batters in 8 innings. 'Berrios was simply incredible' losing pitcher Morton said. 'I hate to admit this but I'd pay to watch a man pitch like that' |
